PVDF combines good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties with an excellent chemical resistance. Because PVDF absorbs very little water, it is suitable for an unlimited use in liquids. The service temperature of –40 to +150°C offers a wide application area for this high temperature material.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fully fluorinated polymer. Colloquially this plastic is often referred to as Teflon.
PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) is a classic material for applications in the chemical apparatus and container construction, the exhibition stand construction as well as for door and wall elements. It has excellent properties such as high stability and stiffness.
PP is a homopolymeric thermoplastic. Because of its excellent profile of properties – especially the high chemical resistance and corrosion resistance – it is one of the most widely used materials in the chemical apparatus and container construction and has an excellent cost-benefit potential.
