PA is a macromolecular, partially crystalline thermoplastic with high impact resistance. The combination of hardness and stability on the one hand as well as toughness and tensile strength on the other hand is achieved by no other thermoplastic. Today PA is one of the most used plastics in machine construction. It has good chemical resistance and additionally it is bond- and weldable.
PE-HD is a partially crystalline thermoplastic, which is characterised by a high chemical resistance and good electrical insulating properties. It is widely used in the industry, because in almost every usual procedure it can be easily processed (very good cutting properties) and furthermore it is inexpensive.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fully fluorinated polymer. Colloquially this plastic is often referred to as Teflon.
