News from Cellwar

Cellwar goes 3D

With much hullabaloo a new technology has been noticed by the public in the past years. There is talk of a next industrial revolution – the 3D print. With 3D printers complex geometries can be visualised quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Where previously complex sampling processes and individual productions took place, today the parts are constructed and designed by means of 3 CAD systems and then simply printed out. We too do not want to close our minds to this process and offer to our customers a further, innovative service and manufacturing solution for small series.

Thus we invested in our first 3D printer. With this appliance we can produce component parts von 300 x 300 x 450 mm (l x w x h). Naturally available in various materials such as PLA, ABS, PC and in a range of different colours. Of course we can process these parts (grinding, bonding, printing and varnishing).

Let us inspire you and send us your product/component part design today. We are happy to print it out for you and talk about the possibilities of a serial production.

Cellwar enthuses customers with roadshow

We are a small, innovative SMB for plastics processing and much indebted to our customers.

Customer service is dear to our heart. In a first pilot experiment we have therefore visited selected customers with our roadshow.

On board the luxury coach which we hired from visenti Travel (www.visenti.ch) the customers were able to satisfy themselves of the various and creative possibilities of our products and services.

Over a glass of wine or a cup of good coffee we discussed and philosophised about plastics and its advantages and about mutual projects.

Because of the positive customer feedback the concept will be continued in autumn. If you would like us to visit you with our roadshow, contact us via email Enable JavaScript to view protected content.

Cellwar invests in the future

On the occasion of the company’s takeover by B. Zenhäusern and C. Poffet we also launched an investment programme. The aim of this programme is to adapt the processes and production facilities at the site in Münchenbuchsee to the newest standards.

For this purpose Cellwar put into operation a new, very precise state-of-the-art CNC milling machine about 3 weeks ago. The plant was built and equipped according to special specifications of Cellwar. It is among the most state-of-the-art and most precise plants on the market and it enables us to process our customer orders in future even more precise and more flexible regarding the delivery date. The plant has a maximum machining measurement of 2200 x 3100mm and is specially designed for the requirements of the plastics processing. We are pleased to have laid with this investment the foundations for the future of our firm and thank you for your many years of loyalty. Without your orders we could not finance this investment and it would be useless.
